Opera Mini 3.0

Opera recently released version 3.0 of Opera Mini, the Java based, multi-platform web browser which works on feature phones and Windows Mobile and Palm smartphones and handhelds.

Far be it from me to throw a bucket cold water on anyone or thing, however, Opera Mini 3.0 isn't as stable as the previous version has been on my Treo. I'm using the Palm-Powered Treo 700p. Everytime I go to load a page, regardless of which one it is, the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) crashes and I get dumped back into the Palm OS application launcher.

If you plan on trying Opera Mini 3.0, make sure that you backup your Palm handheld or Treo smartphone before installing.

Should you want to try out Opera Mini, you can do so by visiting the official Opera Mini site.
